I've collected sea glass and beach pottery on the beaches for years. One day I came across this beautiful poem which really struck a chord with me and I decided to adapt it and use it along with my beach pottery finds as a picture.

This picture features an adapted shortened version of the beautiful words by Bernadette Noll in her poem “I Want to Age Like Sea Glass” and features a few pieces of genuine beach pottery.

All the beach pottery I use is real beach pottery that my family and I have collected from my local Co Down Northern Ireland beaches. The beach pottery I use in my art is the real McCoy! No tumbled or bought beach pottery. Every piece unearthed makes my heart skip!
The poem and beach pottery are displayed in a black shadow box frame which allows room for the beach pottery under the glass.
The frame measures 18x18 cm with an aperture of 15 x 15cm.
The picture you receive will be similar to the one in the photograph allowing for differences in the beach pottery.
The poem is printed onto white card.
Each piece is unique -no two pieces of beach pottery are ever the same - and it will make the perfect gift for either you or your special someone who loves beach pottery or anything to do with the beach and the sea.
