This yarn bowl would make a perfect gift for the knitter in your life.

With a little cut out for the wool to pass through and decorated with a star, it stops the wool skidding around under the furniture and picking up all the fluff from under the sofa.

Also useful for keeping the cat away from the wool.

Then, when you don't have a knitting project on the go, it be used as a plant holder.

The bowl was thrown by me on my pottery wheel using white stoneware clay and then carved it out whilst still damp.

Just for a bit of fun I added a handle to make it look like big teacup.

The bowl measures 14.5cm across not including the handle) and 10.5 cm high.

Weight 804gms.

I have glazed it in one of my favourite glazes-- a beautiful blue grey reactive glaze.

Dishwasher, oven and microwave safe(you never know when you might need to).

The postage quoted has been estimated using the royal mail website.

Items will be well packed-I don't want them to get broken either!
