No inspiration as such. I had little pieces of silk to use up, and developed the design as I worked. I like being by rivers or the ocean, and previous designs using the same silk, I've given them a marine-themed title. This time I decided on a river-theme title.

5x7ins / 12.7x17.85cms. Blank inside for personal greetings. P&P Free to UK customers.

I've got several little remnants from old silk scarves, which needed using up. I arranged them on thin white card, along with some organza, then stitched them to the card with matching threads - single threads of embroidery cotton. I like to make the "fringes" on the organza a part of the design.
