I collect scraps of vintage vintage fabrics & generate quite a lot of scraps in my studio. This type of quilt is the best way of using up the scraps and making a beautiful,truly " patchwork" quilt

Full description
A handmade,handquilted patchwork quilt using as many scraps of blue themed fabrics as I could find in my studio. The fabrics date from the 40's through to the 80's and have been combined in a random patchwork pattern to give a homely,handmade feel.
Handquilted by me,using vintage cotton perle thread.
The binding is a complementary blue./white gingham and the back is a bright and cheerful blue & white daisy printed,reclaimed cotton.
The wadding is 80% cotton/20% polyester. Fully washable at 30 degC, wool/delicates cycle. Can be tumbled dry on Low. the quilt will wrinkle after first wash,giving it a vintage look.
Measures 49" x 47" (inches).
