As much as possible, we like to use recycled packing to do our bit for the environment.
I have always loved patchwork and wanted to capture this theme in glass.

This very busy and very vibrant hand made fused glass coaster is the ideal gift for a coffee or colour fan. It is packed to the rafters with bright and vibrant colour and makes a great gift if you team it up with the recipient's favourite brand of tea, coffee, hot chocolate or wine.
The coaster has been hand made in our Hippy Rainbow Patchwork design and features a patchwork design with blocks of bright colour incuding red, yellow, dusty purple, green, blue, turquoise, orange and pink. Each little patchwork section has some kind of decoration, one block has a daisy, others have a heart decorated with spots or stripes, others have nuggets and stripes of glass in complimentary colours . The idea behind the design was to capture the beauty of a patchwork quilt in glass and pack as much colour into it as possible.
The coaster measures approximately 10cm x 10cm and has been left to settle at it's own size and in it's own shape, so it doesn't have dead straight edges and should be considered rustic but with plenty of charm, true to hippy values.
As this item is glass, we do tend to sacrifice pretty packaging for more secure, so the coaster will be well wrapped in recycled bubblewrap and packing on dispatch. Please note that the coaster is dispatched without pads or feet.
