A black and white image of Marine Lake, Merseyside when a very high tide completely flooded the walkway. A long exposure was used to smooth the water and give a minimalist feel.

Two options are available:

- 12" x 8" print only, borderless, unmounted, unframed
- 12" x 8" print mounted in a 16" x 12" 'simply' white mount ready for you to fit in a frame of your choice.

The prints for both options will be produced using pigment inks of archival quality and printed on Canson Photolustre 310gsm fine art paper which gives a beautiful lustre effect.

The board used for the mounted option above has a neutral ph non-acidic white core, which will stay white for the life time of the board. The mount will be hinged and the print fixed in the mount using the minimum necessary acid-free fixings. This prevents distortion of the print which could occur over time due to changes in atmospheric conditions and allows you to easily remove it from the mount if you wish in the future.

The framed prints shown are for illustrative purposes only. No frames are included.

Please also note that due to differences in monitor and screens calibration, the colours you are seeing may differ slightly to those of the actual print.

These railings are found on the walkway which surrounds Marine Lake, a 52 acre man-made saltwater lake used for a variety of water sports. At some high tides the water completely covers the walkway so good research, timing, and high waterproof boots are a must. I'd envisaged this as minimalist shot so used a 30 second exposure to completely smooth out the fast rising water.
