Upon retiring from a long and happy career as a physiotherapist, I embarked upon an applied arts degree. This led me to ceramics, where I have discovered a passion for combining glazed earthenware, lightbox drawings and gold leaf to create completely unique decorative pieces.
Each and every piece I make is one of a kind.
Many of my collections take inspiration from the nature and this is a piece from my Seaside Series.

This unique, decorative bucket is part of The Seaside Series from award-winning ceramicist, Frances Lee.
The Seaside Series features a mixture of white earthenware slip and solid clay finished with a transparent glaze and hand drawn, fine pen and water colour images, made into transfers.
Inspiration for The Seaside Series comes from the North Yorkshire coast and features the beauty of the beach from shells to seaweed.
This decorative piece is one of a kind.
