A very warm welcome to my collection of original artwork. I just love creating pieces that captures the rugged beauty of the landscape in a moment in time.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap and send it on to the U.K. based recipient. Just send me the details at checkout.
Prior to posting, framed pieces will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse wrapping materials I have collected. The artwork will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed pieces, they will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(49) I've called this original painting, 'Under A Sapphire Sky'. I have fond memories of spending time in some beautiful locations in Scotland. They provide inspiration for my artwork and also when I'm planning future trips. This would make an ideal gift for any occasion.

Full description
This original impasto painting captures a peaceful Scottish coastal landscape. The night draws in and the moon shines over the water. I’ve applied thick layers of paint to create rich texture and depth, making the scene come alive with silvery light and shadow. Three cottages with smoke coming from the chimney add a touch of warmth and coziness to the rugged setting. The foreground is dotted with wildflowers, adding a splash of colour and contrast to the dark rocks and grass.
