Inspired by woodland birds in the Chine at the back of my house here in Dorset, I love balance of the beautiful fan tails and soft round bellies. I love the scallops often seen in Scandi & Mid-Century pattern which I developed to mimic the layered feathers.

A tranquil Handmade Bird lampshade in 100% Cotton, this design features an offset repeat bird pattern in Grey with teal blue, duck egg blue & white.
Developed in my seaside studio, starting as a sketch, evolving into a lino print, and digitally transformed into the unique Flowers for Susie pattern & colour palette.
I make all lampshades by hand in my Dorset studio
Finished to a premium quality with a rolled edge and a premium folded seam.

Bulb Advice:
Suitable for BC, ES & SES lamp holders
We recommend the use of low energy bulbs with your lampshades. They use less energy and are cool to the touch, avoiding the problem of scorching shades and ceilings.
Testing:
Lampshade lining materials and frame have been tested and pass the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association.
Packaging:
Lampshades are packaged in brown paper and a double walled brown box to ensure safe delivery.
PLEASE NOTE:
Lead time for lampshades is upto 3 weeks from order date but this may be extended in busy periods. If the lampshade will take longer than 3 weeks I will be in touch to check the timings work for you.
