When I first created this set, I wanted to make a range of jewellery that would be a staple to complement any outfit. The set is designed to look good with everyday and smart clothes - making them a staple piece of jewellery. The drop is a classic style which won't age. I prefer to use sterling silver, as it is less likely to cause irritation to ears, but they will also last! The sterling silver findings and wire are made from recycled silver in the UK - I try to use as many UK based suppliers as I can.

Beautiful certified Kingman turquoise and sterling silver wire wrapped drop necklace and earrings set. Sterling silver wire wraps around genuine turquoise beads from the Kingman Mine in Arizona. Striking natural blue/ green colour.
Turquoise is the birthstone for December.

TURQUOISE
The name Turquoise is derived from the French, pierre turque, meaning “Turkish stone,” because the trade routes that brought Turquoise to Europe from the mines in central Asia went through Turkey, and Venetian merchants often purchased the stone in Turkish bazaars.
Turquoise Stones have been in use for thousands of years and are some of the oldest stones to be made into jewellery. Turquoise is said to aid psychic abilities and benefits the throat chakra, by aiding communication and public speaking. It is also known to protect wearers when travelling.
