I am continuing with my seasonally inspired linoprints each month as I am LOVING it! Inspired by a winter walk in the Cotswolds and the most common of our British birds - the shy and secretive Wren.
According to folklore the Wren earned the name 'King of the birds' in a competition to see who could fly the highest. Wren hid under the wing of Eagle and when Eagle could fly no higher Wren jumped on Eagles head and declared himself the winner!
