Another item from my stash, bought at a jewellery fair in Brighton. Agate dyes really well and you get a lovely variety of subtle shades...in this case, shades of green. The gold coloured copper wire simply wrapped to encase the stone enhances the shades of green and the white cord gives it a fresh Spring feel. As a textile artist, I love being able to apply textile methods to other materials. Wire wrapping is a bit like sewing in a random way without a needle.

Full description
A dyed Agate stone in shades of green, wire wrapped with gold coloured enamelled copper wire, suspended from a double length of white textile cord. The clasp is a simple gold coloured hook and jump ring. The pendant is approx 19"/ 48cm long. The stone measure just over 1" by 0.5" or 2.5cm long by just under 2cm wide.
