I had just completed another project using these fabrics and just loved the combination of the red, black and white so I cut the remaining fabric into strips and patchworked them together and quilted them before adding the faux leather base. The red accents really set off this make-up bag, giving it a luxurious feel. What a great gift idea.

I made this cosmetics bag from strips of fabric I had from a previous project and quilted them. I just love the contrast of the red, white and black. I used black faux leather for the base and added features to create this unique design.
