A thoughtful gift for someone who is bereaved at the loss of their much loved pet and would like a memorial stone. You can let me know the pets name and I will hand carve it onto a slate block, just underneath a hand carved pets paw shape. The slate blocks are around 20 to 23mm thick and substantial enough to be free-standing. The natural slate can be set down in a garden or used as an ornament, paper weight or for general display on a bookcase, desk, mantelpiece or window cill etc.

The slate is hand carved to form the shape of a pets paw on the surface and then engraved with their name. The pets paw shape will be gold enamel as standard but if you would prefer red, silver, white or natural (no paint), then selection from the 'choose options' menu. Gold enamel is the default choice for the paw, if you don't make a selection from the options.

Care: Suitable for indoor or outdoor use and the natural slate option is especially resilient to extremes of outdoor temperature and weather conditions. If you choose a painted stone option for the outdoors, then we would recommend choosing a place that is not in prolonged periods of direct sunlight andor with temperatures regularly exceeding 38 degrees Celsius.
