I was first inspired to hand carve a piece of slate as a pet memorial for some friends, when their cat Rosie sadly passed away. I then developed the idea to create a range of hand carved pet memorials in that style and this is one of those items.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
A thoughtful gift for someone who is bereaved at the loss of their much loved cat or dog and would like a memorial stone, to hang up in the garden or around the house. The natural slate angel can be hung from the branch of a tree or bush, a fence post of the latch of a gate or shed door handle. Your angel slate can also be hung inside on the wall, from a shelf or even on a Christmas tree. I will gladly carve your pets name on to the front of the slate angel, so please let me know what you would like when you order, thanks.
The slate is carved to form the shape of an angel and then hand carved pets paw on the surface, along with the name of your choice. The shape is partially filled with a silver enamel to give a smooth but shiny finish. The angel slate has a piece of Jute twine attached and included.
Care: suitable for indoor or outdoor use and the natural slate option is especially resilient to extremes of outdoor temperature and weather conditions.
