It's now definitely Xmas Shopping time! Folksy is packed full of fabulous gift ideas and of course SPOONS are at the top of my suggestions list - they are long-lasting, planet-friendly, practical, postable and can be personalised to make the perfect gift for anybody, whether it's a budget buy for the office secret santa, a stocking filler for your partner, a joke present for your best mate or a classy offering for those well-off rellies who have everything (tip: I bet they don't have one of my spoons).

Answer spoons. If these are not already a thing, then they should be. Quirky, stylish and so much more fun than tossing a coin. When you can't decide whether the answer is yes or no... or you don't want to say it to someone's face... you need answer spoons. And these ones are in French, because they have a sort of fleur de lis on the handles and anyway having the same number of letters on each spoon just looks better.
These spoons are seriously tiny - I think they were originally salt spoons - just less than 7cm long. Keep them in your bag or purse ready to deploy them when needed. The lettering is coloured with a non-toxic acrylic ink so they can also be used for salt, chilli, spices, mustard or anything else that needs to be dispensed in very small quantities!
I can of course stamp a personalised marriage proposal on a larger spoon and you can present it along with these, so you get the answer in spoon form too. (Yes, I can do it in French if you want.)
