This painting is of a path by the river Etheroe that is just a stone throw from my home. I walk it regularly when I take my dogs out. Its one of those places so familiar that I had overlooked how beautiful it is. We often do that with familiar places. It was a summers day with pleasant weather which makes it unusual for me I am usually to be found somewhere under a storm cloud.
