I began work on the piece after an off season visit to the Northumbrian coast. it takes a long time as each picture is made up of thousands of tiny scratches that trap the light in the glass to form the image and reveal the vision in the glass

Hand engraved with the image of a crashing wave My engravings are comprised of thousands of tiny scratches by a diamond point which trap the light to reveal the vision in the glass I think it is particularly effective on a window hanging and as the image is cut into the glass it is permanent. The image can not be washed away ,it will always look as you see it on the day you receive it.
