These beautiful, Sterling Silver cufflinks with wave detail were inspired by the ebb and flow of the tide, my love of the water and the restorative power it has.

The wave detail was hand carved in wax first, then cast in Sterling Silver to create this unique design. The ebb and flow of water is represented in the circular style of the wave, with the movement and ripples of the waves brought out by the textured details added to the initial carving and captured in wonderful detail during the casting.

They are purposefully tactile because I wanted one touch to take the wearer to that place and that very moment... where land meets sea, where my mind seeks solace and the waves soothe the soul.

The focal wave detail of these cufflinks measure aprox 14mm at its widest point and 13 at its tallest. The cufflink arm has been soldered to the back of the wave These cufflinks are finished with a polish, with some extra high shine detail on the edges of the charms ripples and reflects the light just as the water does!

The unique design of these cufflinks is a thoughtful gift for anyone who's a water lover or coastal dreamer. A reminder that wherever you are, the restorative power of the tides ebb and flow can stay with you.

The cooling water ripples past my feet, over my toes, past my ankles and straight on by me. Swirling and increasing in intensity, the bubbles carried on the tips of the waves gently fizz as they brush past my skin. I relax… Listening to the sound of the waves, slow and steady with a crescendo as they crash on to the shoreline. My mind clears, my thoughts re-order themselves and a sense of peace appears. And with the next breath a change of direction, a rush of water appears around by feet again and the as the sand shifts beneath them drawing me closer, grounding me. The waters chase back to the rhythmic waves is fast and frenzied, ripples of water making beautiful patterns that reflect the light are rushing from all directions. I stand fast, entranced by the ebb and flow of the tide. My toes now buried and literally a part of that special place where land meets sea; A place where my mind seeks solace, where I feel at peace and the waves soothe my soul.
