The familiar path that I tread at my local beach sees me follow the rock pools that line the edge of it. Each visit is different, yet familiar, as the rock pools change with the ebb and flow of the tide. I always notice the changes and can spend hours exploring the pools... Some shallow, some deep, differing in colours from bright turquoise blue to pale sea green. Some full of life, some silent and still. However, the thing that remains the same is that they are all interlinked and flowing through each other, almost in support of one another! Then, as the tide changes and washes them away, each day brings a new start, a different direction and new life...

Full description
These beautiful statement earrings are inspired by the ever changing rock pools pools that edge the beach. The colours, the life and the water that flows through them.
Each earring is formed of 5 discs of Sterling Silver that have all been shaped to form a cup. They are soldered together at differing angles to represent the flow of the water, which is never regular! The total earring length is aprox 3.6cm and at it's widest point, the earring is 1.5cm. The earrings attach to the ear via a Sterling Silver ear post on the back, fixed with a scroll back.
The vivid turquoise blue colour is added by using powdered enamel that is hand fired. The process of hand firing means that no one pair is identical - there are beautiful variances in the colour, giving the earrings a wonderful realism!
The edges of the domes are filed flat and polished. It's this that gives the earrings a beautiful contemporary feel to them and helps draw the eye in!
The back of the earrings have a light brushed texture.
These earrings catch the eye and transport you to sunnier climates! Their simple contemporary style makes them a great pair to transition form day to night perfectly! They would a great gift for anyone who loves the ocean or holds a special place in their heart for Cornwall.
