Full description

The Simplicity of circles/ semi-circles and the beauty of stained glass makes this hanging decoration a real favourite of mine. Each sun catcher is made up of 6 half circles creating 3 circles. Each circle is joined by a strong linked chain and comes with a hanging hook that includes a spinner making this fabulous to hang in your garden so you can watch the circles twirl in the breeze making the sunshine reflect the colours and shapes nearby. Very calming in a busy world! Alternatively, this would be a static hanging decoration at a sunny window. I have one in my own home attached to a battery operated motor that gently turns the spinner so the sunshine bounces off showing lovely reflections in the room.

Using tones of blue and purple, the circles are created using the copper foil techniques. The glass is hand cut, wrapped in copper foil and soldered together leaving a nice smooth bead. The solder is treated with a black patina and then polished to a sparkling shine.

Due to the uniqueness of stained glass, each suncatcher looks slightly different. If you want one with specific purples or without please contact me and I can tailor to your requirements.
