Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. It is entirely hand crafted, unique and very special.
It's a three heart design, each one inside the other. Each heart is made from two different types of blue and blue turquoise glass making 6 shades and textures of glass in all.
It is 13cm high by 11cm and hangs from a silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the heart. I've framed the heart with twisted wire which makes it much stronger and gives an attractive edge.
It looks lovely hanging in the window where the different textures and shades of glass give it movement and shine as it catches the light.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass. This will make a wonderful present, at any time, as a special gift for someone you love.
