During the second lock down in 2020, I felt uninspired to loom, I wanted to make a blanket but didn't know how to create one that I felt was good enough.
Talking to my sister, who was at the time pregnant, fed up and in hospital isolated she gave me the idea to create a rustic theme blanket using only the colours, black, brown and white.
so I created this in my living room on my Ashford 32" rigid heddle loom and sent her photos along the way to keep her up to date while in isolation.
I did a clasped weft (my favourite) and decided to be adventurous and learn how to do a Rya knot. this is my first attempt.
Overall I really enjoyed making this.
