Full description

This handsome bracelet has 5 antique trade beads, 2 vintage Himalayan 'face' beads and some North African style silver tone beads and a couple of beads made from recycled glass bottles, jars, etc.

The Venetian trade beads would have been made between the 1880s and the 1920s, for export to African where they were used to barter for goods. Because of their age, they must be expected to show signs of wear and tear but these are all in pretty good condition with just an odd chip or two (please see photos).

The face beads were made somewhere in The Himalayas, I believe, but I don't know any more about their history. They show some signs of wear, so must be quite old, I think. The silver tone beads are probably from North Africa but I can't be sure.

The bracelet is adjustable - just pull the two ends apart to open and close.

The minimum internal measurement is approximately 7.5", so it will suit an average man's wrist or a larger woman's wrist.

Size: The bracelet has an internal measurement of 8.5 inches so will fit a large man's wrist.

Presentation: Your bracelet will be sent with a presentation bag, inside a mailing box.

Gifts: I can send to another address and include a handwritten message if requested.

Postage: I can usually post within 24 hours and will send by 1st class, signed for mail.
