Happy New Year to everyone and here’s to a buy handmade 2024. We are all starting to awaken here at JCHQ after the festive break and plan for the year ahead. More of the same for me and that is a mix of selling shows, trade orders and award commissions. My Folksy Shop is here for all you people that cannot make the events or get to any of my stockists. So many people over the years have asked me to make them a tiny vase to put the last little flower of the bunch in or an orphan from the garden broken off by the wind. So I give to you a tiny bud vase. It wasn’t until recently that I discovered they have another name. The victorians loved snow drops and used little vases just like these which they fulled with snowdrops . Sometimes it’s the simpler things in life. These little vases can go on being used long after the snowdrop season has ended. I use mine all year around
