Full description
This is a hoop hand embroidery of a hare sat in a field of corn.
It has been embroidered onto an offcut of an oatmeal piece of cotton which was originally a laundry bag. It has been mounted into a 22 cm high by 13 cm wide oval beechwood embroidery hoop so can be hung on the wall or free standing on a stand or mini easel (not supplied)
The embroidery is freehand and I build up the layers by thread painting to give the illusion of the fur.
It has been backed with a piece of cream wool felt.
