My lovely sister-in-law asked me to make one of these as a gift for her son & his wife. Took a few trials but eventually got what we were after! Thanks for the inspiration Linda.

Full description
This is a shallower version of the other large bowls I've made. This time the glaze has come out of the kiln a darker shade of this blue but it is speckly due to the flecked clay which also gives it a bit of texture. I just love the toasty colour of the bare clay on the outside when it's fired. Perfect perhaps as a serving dish or for salad.
Fired in a kiln at a stoneware temperature (c1200 degrees) makes it durable and each one comes out of the kiln looking slightly different.
Diameter - 25.2cm
Height - 4.4cm
The glaze is lead free and food safe. You can, in theory, put it in the dishwasher but due to its size, probably better to hand wash.
