Hello! Thank you for visiting my shop.
I originally drew this on my iPad back in December 2022 when we had some very cold and frosty weather for a few weeks.
My main inspiration for this illustration was the brilliant Raymond Briggs book (and animation) The Bear, which is probably my favourite animation.
The polar bear (Ursus maritimus) is staring up at the midwinter sky, looking at the constellation the great bear (Ursa major), which is often called the plough or the big dipper.
