Full description
This yarn has been created thanks to my pedigree Leicester Longwool ewes, Lia, Luna and Emily donating their fleeces.
The yarn is semi lustrous and is in its natural grey colouring.
It's a Double Knit yarn and each skein weighs approx 100g and is 200 metres in length.
The yarn is suitable to be used for hats, gloves, shawls, jumpers etc.
Care instructions. 100% wool items don't need washing as often as man-made materials, as wool breathes naturally. They can often be spot cleaned should the need arise, or wash by hand in warm water, using a wool wash soap, rinse again in warm water, do not wring. Pat the item dry in a towel and dry flat away from direct heat.
Our Icelandic x Shetland lambs grow their fleece really quickly, and they are sheared at 6 months old to ensure a wonderfully soft yarn.
