This fabulous flock of Godwits is designed by Elis Simpson from Wader Quest.

The sculpture is laser cut from stainless steel, then sanded by Paul to create a reflective lustre which will shine and sparkle as it catches the light. This creates a changing appearance as the light varies throughout the day.

As it is made from stainless steel our flock will stay shiny significantly longer than mild steel would (think of your kitchen sink!) so will therefore look amazing in your indoor or outdoor space and also makes a distinctive 11 year anniversary gift.

The godwits are a group of large, long-billed, long-legged and strongly migratory waders of the bird genus Limosa. Their long bills allow them to probe deeply in the sand for aquatic worms and molluscs. In their winter range, they flock together where food is plentiful.

The Godwits ornament measures 303mm x 38mm x 10mm
