Wishing to do art and design at school as I always loved to be creative & different. Hwvr, I went into nursing. giving me the opportunities of getting to know & care for a great deal of people. Unsure my heart was in it, until maturing in understanding and empathy, I'm sad & glad to say that people have many needs and illness causes different effects, both physically but spiritually. I hope that as in my career as I got to be more sensitive and aware, it enhanced my love of art and design, broadening my mind. This was increased when I worked abroad, especially in Italy.
MY work- A big part of me is humour so that is why I like to put my love of animals in comic type ways in my cards and designs. To consider our planet today, I use recycled card which also gives a 2/3 dimensional effect. I love colour also and bring this to my cards using all types of colour mediums. My cards are made to stand well I decorate inside for extra special effects
