Our dolls house club had a competition to make and fit out a shop and I won with my Drapers and Haberdashery shop, ( with outside toilet ! )

A lot of times a dollhouse owner will go on to start a shop after they have got a good way with furnishing their house so here are assorted items to stock a Children’s Wear Shop from the 1950’s. If not a shop then dress the baby, a toddler or Grandma ( in the bedjacket ) or place the clothes round the bedroom, in drawers or wardrobe.
I knitted these tiny garments for little people on very fine needles with single-ply wool and I have the following available;
