Full description
A bespoke lampwork pendant that is rich in blue tones and embellished with fine silver. A complex cane in blue tones has been added across the bead and then twisted with a lilac stinger coated in fine silver to create a gemstone effect.
The lampwork bead starts life as simple glass rods that I melt in the flame and onto mandrels. I then add layers of glass and continue to melt and shape in the flame.
All the jewellery findings (handmade headpins, pendant bail, chain) are solid Sterling Silver. The pendant comes with a 16 inch twisted style Sterling Silver chain.
COE 104 glass has been used to create the lampwork bead.
The lampwork bead has been kiln annealed to relieve internal stresses that may have formed during the melting process and thus increase the overall durability and strength. However, please note that whilst the bead has been kiln annealed they can still be delicate due to the nature of glass.
Most items will be sent via 2nd Class unless stated otherwise. If you require an urgent delivery, please let me know and I can send it via an alternative mail service at an additional cost.
