Full description
A bespoke pair of black and blue swirling lampwork earrings with fine silver embellishment. The lampwork beads start life as simple glass rods that I melt in the flame and onto mandrels. I then add layers of glass and continue to melt and shape in the flame. These beads have been encased in transparent glass to give them depth.
The photographs show different aspects of the beads' swirling design.
All the jewellery findings (handmade headpins and earring wires) are solid Sterling Silver. The dangle earring wires are handmade from 0.8mm Sterling Silver wire. The earrings are presented in a gift box.
COE 104 glass has been used to create the lampwork beads.
The lampwork beads have been kiln annealed to relieve any internal stresses that may have formed during the melting process and thus increase the overall durability and strength. However, please note that whilst the beads have been kiln annealed they can still be delicate due to the nature of glass.
Most items will be sent via 2nd Class unless stated otherwise. If you require an urgent delivery, please let me know and I can send it via an alternative mail service at an additional cost.
