Full description
A beautiful handmade 20cm round lampshade suitable for a table lamp. The original artwork is based on a landscape photograph I took near my home. It was an image of the sun rising through misty woodland trees. I then enhanced the original file on the computer to give it an impressionist watercolour feel and had it printed up as a fabric.
This lampshade is totally unique and it will make a most original and thoughtful gift for anyone who loves the countryside and would be perfect for that special housewarming or wedding present.
The lampshade frame fits the standard bayonet cap (BC) lamp holder. This is the most common type of lamp fitting in the UK today. It can also be used with Edison Screw (E27) lamp holders, most common in Europe, merely remove the converter plug in the centre of the fitting.
We recommend the use of low energy bulbs with our lampshades. They use less energy and are cool to the touch, avoiding the problem of scorching the shades. The inside of the lampshade is fire-retardant, anti-yellowing white PVC.
Please note: the lamp base and props are for illustrative purposes only and not included. Also be aware that due to differences in screens and monitors, the colours you are seeing may differ slightly from those of the shade in real life - unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about that.
