The ‘family’ in my own dollshouse had a baby who needed a nice big comfy pram, so I customised a basic pram and made some pretty bedding to go with it.

Full description

A MINIATURE pram for a 1/12th scale dollhouse complete with a waterproof, leather hood in case of rain. With nice silver spokes and big wheels this coach-built pram is very comfy for the baby in the family when being pushed around the park, especially with the pretty cover and pillow. ( Remember it’s all pretend.)

I took a shop bought metal pram and customised it following instructions by Joan Key, in a copy of Dolls House World, June 2002, then made a pillow and cover with imitation embroidery in ink.

Once the pram was ready for the new addition I just had to include a little baby boy, sucking his thumb. He can’t really be dressed but we can imagine a nice warm day.

This pram is a collector’s item for the over 14’s

Designed by Janet Williamson in my workroom at home in Liverpool
