Item details
A small off-cut of Yew (Taxus Baccata) was just begging to be used. The lid is made from a small piece of (I think) Ash - Ebonised with a specialist wood lacquer. Typical of Yew, it comes "Warts and All" - there is what looks like a thin crack which should be visible in the first photo, It is perfectly stable and is part of the fuguring in the wood.
