Thanks for visiting Looney Spoons. I've now closed the shop for my Christmas break and will be reopening on Monday 6 January.
If you've already ordered, it will have been posted first class by Monday 16 Dec at the latest.
Have fun browsing and stay tuned for new spoons in the new year!
Massive thanks to all my customers, I am so pleased to have made so many people laugh this year.
Merry Christmas Everyone,

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
A matching pair of vintage silverplate 'apostle' coffeespoons handstamped with rude Latin mottoes in tiny little (1/16") capital letters. One says STERCUS ACCIDIT ("Sh-t happens") and the other FLOCCI NON FACIO ("I don't give a toss") - they are evidently cool with whatever life may throw at them!
The lettering is coloured black with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic ink. Hand wash only.
The spoons have matching bearded book-carrying robed 'apostle' figures on the terminals and are approx. 11cm long. Please note they are vintage (in fact I think probably antique) so they do show signs of age and wear. If signs of age and wear bother you, please do look elsewhere for your handstamped cutlery; there are plenty of shops out there stamping on mint condition silverware. Personally I like things with a bit of character and history. These two have been around a bit... who knows how many cups of coffee they've stirred and how much sh!t has happened to them in their long life? And yet here they are, still not giving a toss.
If you would like something different on an apostle spoon, please let me know, they can be personalised with pretty much anything (provided it'll fit in the space!) and it's fun letting them say things they wouldn't have been allowed to say in Victorian times when they were new...
