Full description
This fused glass gingerbread man has been made using hand crushed brown glass which was fired to 800 degrees Celsius in a specialist kiln. The shape was formed by containing the crushed glass in a simple stainless steel cookie cutter.
After 13 hours of firing and cooling, the blank form was hand painted and decorated with glass embellishments of a pre fired bowtie and buttons. It was then returned to the kiln and fired again to 750 degrees Celsius to fix these decorations permanently. Once cooled, a hole was drilled to hold a satin ribbon to allow you to hang this decoration in your home. He stands approximately 9.5 cm tall and 6cm wide. Gingerbread Ladies are also available.
