Full description
This decoration was made by fusing hand cut glass triangles together at 800 degrees Celsius to create one solid piece. The metallic silver swirl was hand drawn using special ink and silver mica powder which becomes permanent when fired to 800 degrees.
Separately, the white star was made using hand ground glass powder and creating the shape using the glass freeze and fuse method. This was fired separately at 720 degrees Celsius. Together with the wire hook, it was tac fused to the glass at a temperature of 670 degrees Celsius. After 3 firings, all that remained was to hang it on a white satin ribbon for you to hang in your home.
Two have been made and due to their handmade nature, they vary slightly in size. Please see second picture for sizing. They measure from 4.6 to 4.9 cm wide and 7 cm tall. Whomever orders first will receive the larger one.
