A very warm welcome to my collection of original artwork.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap the painting and send it on to the recipient. Just send me the details at checkout. Prior to posting, framed paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse internal wrapping materials I have collected. The painting will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed artworks, the paintings will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(19) This original artwork is called, 'We Will Get Through This'. The standing stone has stood tall for centuries and doesn't look like it's going anywhere soon. To get close to the stone, we have to clamber over smaller rocks, stones, rough ground and wildflowers....but it is worth it. This would make an ideal gift for any occasion.

Full description
This acrylic painting of standing stones is ready to hang. Here we can see a formidable standing stone rooted deep into the earth amid a blanket of wildflowers and grasses. In the far distance are rolling hills and the sky is a light blue with only a few scattered clouds. The wildflowers are soft, in contrast with the icy cool stone. However, both are strong in equal measure as they persist and remain resilient. I have applied thick layers of acrylic paint on to a stretched canvas using brushes, a knife and various mark making tools that give texture across the piece.

- This is an original, one-off, acrylic painting on a deep-set sealed cradled canvas panel.
- The art work has been varnished is ready to hang.
- Total size is 20.4 x 20.4 x 4 cms (approx. 8 x 8 x 1.5 inches).
