I have handcrafted this simple and effective necklace from a combination of sterling silver, wire, sheet and chain creating a beautiful tactile neck chain.

I have cut out a heart from sterling silver sheet, hammered & distressed it, I have then added it to some mid weight sterling silver trace chain via 2 hammered rings. At the other end of the chain I have added a formed and hammered ring and hook, making the hook a part of the design and worn next to the charm,

The full length of this lovely chain is approximately 19" and it weighs 5 grams, although this piece is under the minimum weight for hallmarking, it has been fully hallmarked at the London Assay Office including my own makers mark.

I do recreate some of my designs, however each item will have different sized hoops / symbols and layouts, making each piece an original, no two will ever be quite the same.

Silver jewellery remains at its shiny best when worn daily or kept in a dry, air-tight box or bag.

Free UK postage: delivery is provided by 2nd class Royal Mail 'Signed For' services and will be sent in a FlawedMaud presentation box with a care card.

If a precious metal item weighs less than a certain amount it is not compulsory to apply the legal hallmarks. The minimum weight for silver is 7.78 grams

This lovely necklace was made very organically, I had no real design ideas in mind when I started creating it, I liked the idea of making the clasp or hook as part of the design and so that is what I did. I hope you love it as much as I do.
