FlawedMaud came about many, many years ago, actors often need to find alternative ways of making an income when resting, I have always been creative so I started making and selling bags and cushions at craft fairs and as commissions through word of mouth to help put bread on the table.
About 10 years ago I trained on a course in silversmithing in Yorkshire, I wanted to create my own jewellery and I love a challenge, this then expanded into a small workshop which led to presents for family and friends and now my Folksy shop!
I use traditional techniques to make minimalistic, organic feeling jewellery. Each piece will have it's own uniqueness and I like to incorporate any flaws into my work to enhance it, I like to play around with ideas and hope you will love my jewellery as much as I love making it.
I have my own unique registered sponsor’s/maker's mark (JR), held with the London Goldlsmith's office and any items over the weight of 7.78 grams will be fully hallmarked as per legal requirements
I am also a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and run my busy practice in Clayton village, West Yorkshire, making my jewellery in between clients.

Bought these as a present for a friend after having a pair which I love bought for me by another friend.
They are so well made, lightweight and fabulous quality, they’re also an excellent price for something thats one of a kind and handmade.

Beautiful handcrafted earrings. So beautiful that I had actually bought them for a present and kept them for myself buying another pair as well.
It arrived gift wrapped with a silver polishing cloth to accompany it.
