Hi and welcome to The Old Button Sews, where I sell beautiful gifts designed and sewn by me, together with a range of sew-it-yourself craft kits.
Most items are dispatched within 2-3 working days, and I post Tracked 24 at a flat cost, no matter how many items you buy. (Cards and bookmarks are sent First Class, at a lower postage cost).

Full description
A stunning handmade play scene designed around the things your child loves. Perhaps they would like a Farm with a barn, or a magical winter wonderland. Or Dinosaurs with a volcano mountain - the options are endless.
Made to order
SIZE: Travel - 9.5 by 20 inches when open (25 by 50cm). Larger sizes are available - see listings.
The playscene will be individually designed for your child, and beautifully made with lots of hand embroidered motifs in wool felt on a cotton fabric background underlaid with soft wadding. It will include a storage pocket and secure velcro strap, and will be backed with a themed fabric that extends the play opportunities. All styles are designed to work for small toys approximately 2-3 inches (not included).
My play scenes are toy tested to EN71 standards and are UKCA / CE marked.
TO ORDER: Please complete the options boxes to tell me what theme you would like, and any special requests like embroided names or specific colours or features. Please provide an email where I can send you a mock-up (basic drawing and fabric choices).
It usually takes 3 weeks once you have agreed the mock-up. Cancellations can be made for a full refund at any stage.
Care: Can be machine washed at low temperatures. Line drying is recommended, but can be tumbled on cool.
