Full description
Our stained glass penguin will look great on your Christmas Tree or as a hanging decoration. We have used black Opal glass and white Wispy glass for the body and head and red Sea Glass for the festive scarf. The penguin is hand-made using the Tiffany method of glass making. Each piece of glass is cut by hand and shaped using a grinder. The edges of the glass are wrapped in a copper foil tape which is burnished to the glass. The pieces are then soldered together using a fine, rounded solder bead. We polish the finished penguin and attach a hand-tied loop so it is ready for you to hang in your chosen place.
