I had enough fabric left from another needle case to make this one. I do love a hand stitched project as it evolves as you go along and a great thing to keep you busy whilst watching the tv during the autumn.

Full description
This delightful little needle case has been created from scraps of cream, white and red cotton hand sewn to a backing of calico with a variety of stitches in polyester thread and embroidery silk. Embellished with cream lace, a piece of tape measure,a red ribbon rose, a metal charm and a length of metal buttons recycled from an old necklace.
The cotton lining in red has two pockets for keeping sewing items in plus a piece of red wool felt for holding needle and pins. Two pieces of cream lace are used to tie the case together.
A perfect gift for a sewing friend or just treat yourself.
