Full description
Bronze has been used in jewellery making for thousands of years and is often associated with strength and durability. It has a lovely rich, warm colour similar in shade to rose gold and copper.
I have created these earrings by recycling a Sabian crash cymbal made from B20 bronze.
I have hand sawed the tiny triangular shapes and carefully finished them before surface hammering and polishing them. You can still see some of the original lathe marks from the cymbal they were sourced from.
The triangles measure approximately 10 x 11 mm and are hung from earring wires I have also hand made from recycled sterling silver wire.
Bronze will continue to develop beautiful rich colours over time and it's easy to quickly clean up using a commercial product or simple natural cleaning solutions made from items in your kitchen cupboard.
These earrings come gift packaged.
