Our signature Four Seasons rings... and now the Winter has vintage Japanese opal kinshi thread... this has been made to match our Autumn with its Japanese fire thread. The strands look white until the light hit them from an angle, and then the light chases rainbows along the thread. It's joyous. I've spent a long time following the rainbow along the thread, and it's a beautiful effect. The opal thread is combined with the falling snow, and the flashes of iridescence. It's just magical.
My reel of opal thread is old - made specifically for kimonos - and I won't be able to get another, so these are fairly limited, unfortunately.
These beautiful rings are a Buttonsy signature design - depicting each of the four seasons. Spring has cascades of pink blossom; Summer has leaves and greenery and a riot of summer flowers; Autumn's russet leaves are tumbling down, ready to be kicked through, and the leaves are intertwined with genuine 24ct gold Japanese kinshi thread; Winter's is beautiful as the perfect glittery white snow gently showers down, and iridescent sparks shimmer around the band...
These rings can also be purchased as a set (6th and 7th photos), and matching necklaces, which are shown in the second to last photo can be purchased individually, or as a full set of Four Seasons necklaces.
