This is my version of the mushroom decorations that I have seen when out and about - when I found the pink boiled wool in my local fabric shop I knew that it would make the perfect mushroom top and used felt scraps to create the lights.
I have used the freehand embroidery to attach all the fabric and to create the lines for the lights to sit on - I am looking forward to hanging one of these on my own tree this Christmas.

Full description
A toadstool festooned with colourful lights, it is a pink wool mushroom with the addition of a set of felt festive lights strung across the top. There is a twine loop to allow you to hang the mushroom from your tree. All the fabric is attached using a freehand embroidery method
