Full description
These unique earrings were designed to catch the eye with their chunky rustic look and the warm glow of antiqued copper. They were made from 1mm thick copper sheet, cut with a jeweller's saw into two long narrow triangles. I drilled a hole in the narrow end of each one then bent and hammered the metal into a circular shape, using a ring mandrel. I treated the two rings with an oxidising solution to create the dark patina, then polished it with a small amount of Renaissance wax to protect the surface. Finally I added a matching coppertone ear hook and five coppery crystal beads, each with a silver lining to create a bit of sparkle.
The measurements are:
Diameter 2.5cm, width (at widest point) 1.3cm, drop from top of hook: 3.5cm.
These earrings will be packaged in a smart cardboard gift box and sent to you by Royal Mail first class post.
